Mary and Orangel Calzadilla opened QLMS in 1984 to provide high quality, affordable early childhood education. Being able to offer the children in our community a Montessori education has been our primary focus for over 3 decades. Over the years, we have grown to include an Infant and Toddler education program, as well as serving the School Age population with before and after school care.
We strive to provide a family-oriented experience for everybody. QLMS is a DHS licensed and Keystone Stars accredited center. Our teachers are degreed and certified by the American Montessori Society. QLMS is a year-round program consisting of ten months of Montessori instruction supplemented by a 2 month summer recreational program. All children with CCIS subsidy are encouraged to enroll and we participate in the CACFP for free and reduced meals.
